Christilla Vasserot (Spain) Translation

Christilla Vasserot was born in Alicante, Spain, in 1970. She is a Spanish translator and lecturer in the Department of Iberian and Latin American Studies at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3. After writing her doctoral thesis on contemporary Cuban theater, she devoted part of her research to contemporary Latin American dramaturgy. She translates both theater and novels from Spain and Latin America.

Milena Adam (Germany) Translation

Milena Adam, born 1991 in Hamburg, is a translator and interpreter of French and English. For Matthes & Seitz Berlin, she has translated Sandra Newman, Eileen Myles, Alain Damasio and Cal Flyn, among others. She lives in Berlin.

Lina Bader (Syria) Translation

Born in 1961 in Latakia, Syria, Lina Bader holds a degree in French literature and humanities. After teaching French for many years, she has translated over thirty literary works by authors such as Henri Troyat, Simon de Beauvoir, Jean Christophe Rufin, Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, Atiq Rahimi and Andreï Makine. Several Arab literary magazines publish her short translated texts. On December 9, 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Al Sheikh Hamad Prize for Translation and International Understanding, for her translation of J.M.G. Le Clézio's “Désert”.

Elena Balzamo (Russia/France) Translation

A specialist in Scandinavian and Russian literature, essayist, translator and literary critic, she directs a translation seminar at the Swedish Institute in Paris. She is the author of several books on Nordic literature, editions of folk tales and literary works, and numerous articles.

Longge Jin (China) Translation

Born in 1966 in China, he graduated in literature from Fudan University (Shanghai) in 1987, then went on as editor at Lijiang publishing house (1987-2005) and teach French at Guilin University of Tourism (from 2005). He currently lives in Guilin. Translator of major French-language writers such as Guy de Maupassant, Gustave Flaubert, Anatole France, L.-F. Céline,J. M. G. Le Clézio, Patrick Modiano, Frédéric Beigbeder, Michel Houellebecq etc,he has translated and published some 50 literary works, including La Beauté sur la terre by C. F. Ramuz. He has been awarded the Fu Lei Prize in 2011 and 2019.
